[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A middle school student from Daegu who went missing at Haeundae Beach in Busan was found dead on the afternoon of the 26th.
According to the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters, the missing middle school student, A, was discovered around 1:04 PM near the breakwater in front of the LCT on the east side of Haeundae Beach by a volunteer firefighter participating in the search.
It was confirmed that A was found deceased by the volunteer firefighter from the Haeundae Fire Station.
Earlier, at around 3:41 AM on the 25th, three middle school students from Daegu were playing in the water at Haeundae Beach when two of them were swept away by waves beyond the buoy.
One of the students playing with them managed to swim back to the beach by holding onto the buoy marking the swimming control line and then asked a passerby for help, who reported the incident to 119.
