Like Samsung and Apple, SKT also opens a 'Newsroom'
[Asia Economy Reporter Joesulgina] SK Telecom is creating and operating its own newsroom, similar to Samsung Electronics and Apple.

A newsroom refers to a form of 'corporate journalism' where a company builds a separate newsroom page within its website to showcase various content including press releases for media distribution, special features, interviews, columns, and YouTube videos. In Korea, Samsung Electronics was the first to launch this by expanding and reorganizing its existing corporate blog.
The SK Telecom Newsroom is composed of four main sections: ▲News ▲Inside ▲LAB ▲ESG (Environment, Social, Governance).
In the News section, users can download major news, information, and images related to SK Telecom, as well as quickly and accurately check SK Telecom’s official stance on specific issues.
The Inside section provides specialized ICT content of interest to media, shareholders, analysts, and job seekers. It delivers in-depth information on various topics including SK Telecom’s pursued Financial Story, diverse future technologies that change lives, corporate culture, and vision.
Notably, SK Telecom plans to showcase experimental and unique content through the LAB section of the newsroom. Content analyzing social phenomena based on big data and AI-generated creative content, which have been rarely seen before, will be released sequentially.
Additionally, the ESG section includes basic explanations of ESG and features SK Telecom’s ESG activity content.
Newsroom content can be freely shared, distributed, and cited by anyone. SK Telecom also plans to use the newsroom as a communication channel for key stakeholders. For example, creators who want to produce content related to SK Telecom can resolve their questions through the newsroom.
