Two Arrested for Producing Female Sexual Exploitation Material Using 'Underwear Model Part-Time Job' Bait
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Two suspects were arrested for producing sexually exploitative materials targeting women under the pretense of offering underwear modeling part-time jobs.
The Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency arrested A (29) and B (31) on the 22nd on charges of producing sexually exploitative materials targeting women (violation of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse) and other offenses.
In January, they approached a minor, C, through an SNS open chat room, claiming to introduce "underwear (model) part-time jobs," and under the pretext of identity verification, made her take and send body photos, which they used to produce sexually exploitative materials.
B is also charged with purchasing sex from C on two occasions.
Additionally, A is accused of producing sexually exploitative materials by receiving body photos from an adult woman, D, who was looking for a part-time job, using the same method in May.
He is also charged with deceiving D by changing the password of her SNS account, which he obtained through trickery, then approaching men in the chat room, promising to meet for sexual relations if they provided game items, and fraudulently obtaining game items worth approximately 850,000 KRW.
