Shinhan Bank, 8 Consecutive Years as No.1 in the Banking Sector of the '2021 Premium Brand Index'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 22nd that it was selected as the No. 1 company in the banking sector for 8 consecutive years and in the PB sector for 14 consecutive years in the '2021 Premium Brand Index (KS-PBI)' organized by the Korea Standards Association.
The Premium Brand Index is a brand value evaluation model jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and the Seoul National University Business Research Institute. It measures the brand's asset value by diagnosing the brand's strengths and weaknesses, competitive position, and future value.
Shinhan Bank was recognized for promoting customer-centric innovative digital transformation such as the future financial space 'Digilog Branch' and the non-face-to-face comprehensive consultation service 'Digital Sales Department.' It was also acknowledged for practicing Shinhan Bank's unique ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management by being the first domestic commercial bank to join the 'Equator Principles' and declare 'coal phase-out finance,' leading to its selection as No. 1 in the banking sector for 8 consecutive years.
In the PB sector, Shinhan PWM was awarded first place for 14 consecutive years, recognized for providing differentiated PB services such as the 'Shinhan PWM PIB Center,' which offers customized corporate consulting services to entrepreneur clients, and the digital private banking service 'Sol PB.'
