Using Naver Plus Membership with Korean Air Mileage
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Korean Air announced on the 21st that it will start mileage partnership with Naver, a leading domestic online platform.
Through this partnership, Korean Air’s Skypass mileage can be used to access Naver Plus Membership. Naver Plus Membership is a monthly subscription-based paid membership operated by Naver, which offers up to 5% additional Naver Pay points when shopping on Naver, as well as free access to digital content such as Naver Webtoon Cookies and unlimited viewing of TVING broadcast VODs.
By entering their Naver ID in the ‘Mileage Mall’ menu on the Korean Air website or mobile app and deducting 600 Korean Air Skypass miles, users can receive a 1-month Naver Plus Membership pass. Korean Air and Naver are also discussing various cooperation plans, including converting Naver Pay points into Korean Air Skypass mileage.
To commemorate the launch of the mileage partnership with Naver, Korean Air will hold a prize event for customers using this service for one month. Among customers who use Naver Plus Membership after deducting Skypass mileage, winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as round-trip domestic economy class tickets (1 person, 2 tickets) and Naver Pay points (100 people). Detailed information about the promotion can be found on the Korean Air website and mobile app.
