[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Eom Seongseop, a TV Chosun anchor suspected of receiving money and goods from a fake fisheries businessman Kim (43, detained), appeared at the police station on the 17th as a suspect in violation of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.
According to the police, the Violent Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency summoned anchor Eom this morning and is currently investigating him. The police are reportedly verifying all charges related to the acceptance of money and goods against anchor Eom.
