Changwon City and Business Operator Accept Public Deliberation Committee's Recommendation of 1100 Won
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, signed an agreement on the 16th to adjust the toll fee between Jigae and Namsan to 1,100 won.
After a long tug-of-war over the toll fee for the Jigae-Namsan road, Changwon City and the business operators ultimately accepted the 1,100 won recommended by the Public Deliberation Committee.
Through this agreement, the toll fee between Jigae and Namsan will be reduced by about 30%.
According to the agreement, the adjustment period will be one year, after which the toll will be readjusted based on traffic volume to minimize the city's subsidy burden.

Mayor Heo Seong-mu said, "Although this is not a toll reduction that satisfies everyone, I thank the business operators, creditors, and other stakeholders who actively participated," adding, "We will work together to achieve mutual growth through increased traffic volume and toll reductions in the future."
