The National Federation of City, County, and District Public Officials Labor Unions (Chairman Gong Ju-seok), the Jeonnam Federation of Public Officials Labor Unions (Chairman Park Kyung-min), and the Jangheung-gun Public Officials Labor Union (Chairman Choi Geun-young) each donated 500,000 won, totaling 1.5 million won, to be used for flood victims going through difficult times due to the flood damage.
Choi Geun-young, chairman of the Jangheung-gun Labor Union, said, “We united with the Jeonnam Federation of Public Officials Labor Unions to support those struggling due to the sudden heavy rain,” adding, “We hope the recovery from the damage will be completed quickly so that everyone can return to peaceful daily life.”
Jung Jong-soon, mayor of Jangheung-gun, expressed gratitude, saying, “We appreciate this valuable support to our county, which has suffered during these difficult times,” and added, “The donated flood relief funds will be used for flood victims facing hardships, and we will also strive to create an organizational culture of coexistence and communication through labor-management harmony.”
