MBC Reporter 'Impersonating Police' Accusation Transferred to Paju Police Station

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The Paju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province will investigate the case in which two MBC reporters, who impersonated police officers while covering a story related to Kim Geon-hee, the wife of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, were reported.
On the 14th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that it had transferred the report filed by Yoon's side to the Paju Police Station, considering the location where the incident occurred.
The MBC reporters are suspected of impersonating police officers while conducting an investigation to verify Kim's doctoral dissertation, having a phone conversation with the owner of a vehicle parked in front of the former address of Kim's supervising professor. MBC has excluded the reporters involved from their duties.
