[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Geoje City, Gyeongnam Province, has launched an all-out defense to block the spread after a large number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) occurred in the area since the 10th.
According to the city on the 12th, temporary screening clinics were set up last weekend at the gyms of Yeoncho High School, Sinhyeon Middle School, and Gyeryong Middle School to conduct proactive diagnostic tests on 1,183 close contacts and those exposed to the movement paths, including students and faculty members.
The test results showed 1 positive case, 394 negative cases, and the remaining 788 are awaiting results.
