'Rapid Increase in Confirmed Cases' Seoul City Provides Screening Clinic Congestion Information on 'Smart Seoul Map'... Classified as Normal, Crowded, and Congested
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government has established a system on the 'Smart Seoul Map' that allows real-time checking of congestion status at over 80 COVID-19 screening clinics across Seoul. This measure aims to reduce citizen inconvenience as the waiting times at screening clinics have significantly increased due to the rapid rise in new COVID-19 cases.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 12th, under the direction of Mayor Oh Se-hoon, the city has launched a service on the digital information map 'Smart Seoul Map' that displays the waiting times at screening clinics categorized as 'Normal', 'Busy', and 'Congested'. The congestion status is updated every hour and classified as within 30 minutes, around 60 minutes, and over 90 minutes.
