Lendit Successfully Raises 50.4 Billion KRW Investment from H&Q Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Online investment-linked finance company Lendit announced on the 12th that it has attracted an investment of 50.4 billion KRW from ‘H&Q Korea’.
This investment was made through the 4th blind fund of H&Q Korea, which was established in October last year. The fund includes participation from domestic pension funds, mutual aid associations, and financial institutions.
H&Q Korea is a global investment management firm originating from the United States and entered the Korean market in 1998. It is considered a major investor, having invested approximately 2 trillion KRW in the Korean market.
Lendit plans to use this investment to enhance its credit evaluation model and non-face-to-face financial platform. It will also be used for hiring development talent scheduled for the second half of this year.
