[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Facilities Corporation announced on the 8th that it held a 'Joint Labor-Management Integrity Practice Agreement Ceremony' on the 7th using the metaverse platform gather.town.
Gather.town is a metaverse platform that creates spaces similar to reality for activities.
The integrity practice agreement embodies the commitment of labor and management to jointly identify and eliminate improper work practices, create a more transparent and fair organizational culture, and faithfully fulfill their mission of serving citizens.
The agreement ceremony was attended by about 50 labor and management officials, including Seoul Facilities Corporation Chairman Jo Seong-il and Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation Labor Union Chairman Lee Nam-gyu, as avatars on the metaverse platform 'Gather Town'.
Through this agreement, the corporation plans to cooperate mutually to prevent corruption such as bribery, entertainment, and provision of conveniences, and to handle civil affairs promptly and transparently. In addition, to firmly establish a culture of integrity, labor and management representatives pledged to lead by example and agreed to discuss measures to strengthen sanctions against perpetrators of corruption and human rights violations.

Chairman Jo Seong-il said, "I believe that integrity is the top priority value to maintain citizens' trust," adding, "We will do our best to establish a stronger culture of integrity based on the consensus of all employees." Labor Union Chairman Lee Nam-gyu explained the purpose, saying, "We agreed on this because we believe that integrity is a value that can only be achieved through the joint efforts of both the company and its employees."
