KB Kookmin Bank Liiv M, Complete Overhaul of LTE and 5G Plans
Launch of a Reasonable Rate Plan Allowing All Customers to Enjoy More Benefits
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank's Liiv M has completely revamped its LTE and 5G plans. The newly introduced plans consist of a total of 14 types: 7 LTE plans and 7 5G plans.
According to Kookmin Bank on the 1st, the revamped plans include ▲4 LTE Dundeun plans with 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, and 7GB ▲3 LTE Dundeun Unlimited plans with 1GB+, 5GB+, and 11GB+ ▲4 5G Dundeun plans with 2GB, 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB ▲3 5G Dundeun Unlimited plans with 12GB+, 150GB+, and 180GB+.
Both LTE and 5G plans provide unlimited voice calls and text messaging as standard. Although new subscriptions for the existing 10 LTE and 2 5G plans have ended, current subscribers can continue using them.
The newly established KB Dundeun Discount offers ▲KRW 1,100 monthly discount for salary transfers or card payment records ▲KRW 1,100 monthly discount for Star Club members with Gold Star or Premium Style grades ▲KRW 1,100 monthly discount per friend combined, up to KRW 3,300 monthly. However, for Star Club members with MVP Star or Royal Style grades, a KRW 4,400 monthly discount applies regardless of other discount records.
With the KB Dundeun Discount applied, LTE plans can be used from a minimum of KRW 4,500 per month, and 5G plans from KRW 7,500 per month. Since a maximum monthly discount of KRW 3,300 is possible just by friend combination, even customers who are not main clients of KB Kookmin Bank can enjoy greater benefits than the existing plans.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the plan revamp, an event is being held. All customers who activate a plan will receive a KRW 5,000 mobile gift certificate, and through a draw, prizes such as PlayStation 5, Apple AirPods Pro, and Galaxy Buds Pro will be given. Additionally, customers who activate the LTE Dundeun Unlimited 11GB+ plan and register payment with a KB card will receive a discount of up to KRW 11,500 per month on the basic fee for 24 months.

A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, “Through this plan revamp, we lowered the monthly basic fee and restructured the discount system so that not only KB Kookmin Bank’s main customers but all customers can use economical plans,” adding, “We will continue to strive to provide innovative products and services.”
