Ulsan City Appoints Former Hyundai Motor Union Chairman Kim Kwang-sik as New Civil Labor Special Advisor
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Kim Kwang-sik, former chairman of the Hyundai Motor Union, was appointed as Ulsan City's new Special Advisor for Livelihood and Labor on the 1st.
Special Advisor Kim served as a member and chairman of the Hyundai Motor Union from 1988 to 2012, and recently worked for 1 year and 10 months as a standing auditor at the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, promoting worker welfare.
The Special Advisor for Livelihood and Labor assists Ulsan Mayor Song Cheol-ho in policy decisions to promote citizen livelihood stabilization policies, establish advanced labor-management culture, and mediate and resolve labor-management conflicts, thereby establishing efficient labor-management stability policies.
