Gyeongnam Province Announces Recruitment of Companies for 2nd Preliminary Social Enterprise Designation and Job Creation Project Participation
Apply through the Social Enterprise Integrated Information System by the 16th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 1st that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 2nd preliminary social enterprise designation and job creation project.
The application target for preliminary social enterprise designation is a company that has an organizational form according to the "Social Enterprise Promotion Act" and conducts business activities with the main purpose of realizing social value.
Once designated as a preliminary social enterprise, the company is granted eligibility to participate in financial support projects such as job creation projects and business development expense support projects.
The job creation project targets (preliminary) social enterprises that employ one or more paid workers. It supports labor costs at the minimum wage level and part of the four major insurance premiums for up to 50 employees per company.
Companies wishing to participate can apply through the Social Enterprise Integrated Information System by the 16th.
After document review and evaluation of the applying companies, the final selection for the job creation project is scheduled for the end of August, and for preliminary social enterprises in early September.

Meanwhile, in the first public offering, 23 preliminary social enterprises were newly designated, and 105 personnel were assigned to 55 companies through the job creation project.
