[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Celebrating its 32nd anniversary, Hoban Group has provided large-scale management stabilization funds to support partner companies struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Hoban Group announced on the 1st that it held a 32nd anniversary celebration on the 30th of last month at the Hoban Park Grand Auditorium in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, only Hoban Group executives such as Kim Sang-yeol, Chairman of the Hoban Scholarship Foundation, Woo Hyun-hee, Chairman of the Taeseong Cultural Foundation, and Kim Seon-gyu, General Chairman of Hoban Group, attended the event. Other employees watched the ceremony via online live streaming.
During the anniversary event, there were awards for long-term employees, congratulatory speeches, a cake-cutting ceremony, and a presentation ceremony for management stabilization funds to partner companies. In particular, Hoban Group, including Hoban Construction, invited representatives of partner companies to deliver the management stabilization funds, creating a meaningful time for win-win cooperation. The total amount of management stabilization funds provided by Hoban Group was 6 billion KRW, distributed to 65 partner companies. This year’s support amount is three times larger than last year’s.
Lim Seon-bin, CEO of Hyundai Stone Co., Ltd., said, “There have been many difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “We are grateful that Hoban Group has made great efforts and provided continuous support for partner companies.”
In his commemorative speech, Kim Seon-gyu, General Chairman of Hoban Group, emphasized, “The reason Hoban Group has been able to grow more stably than any other company is because of the dedication and efforts of partner companies and employees, as well as the love of our customers,” and said, “Going forward, Hoban Group will continue to lead industrial patriotism and make various efforts and provide support for win-win cooperation and mutual growth with partner companies.”
