Chosun University Hospital Conducts 'Leadership Safety Rounding' to Establish Safety Culture
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University Hospital (Hospital Director Jeong Jong-hoon) announced on the 1st that it recently held a ‘Leadership Safety Rounding’ event aimed at establishing a patient safety culture for its faculty and staff.
Organized by the Medical Quality Management Office of Chosun University Hospital (Director Park Sang-gon, Professor of Hematology and Oncology), the event involved Hospital Director Jeong Jong-hoon, Deputy Director Choi Nam-gyu, and other hospital executives and staff touring various hospital facilities and departments to conduct inspections to prevent patient safety accidents in advance.
During the rounds, they checked ▲whether fall prevention activities were being carried out ▲facilities ensuring the rights and safety of vulnerable patients ▲efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections within the hospital, while actively communicating with department managers to identify issues and share improvements together.
In particular, to prevent in-hospital COVID-19 infections, they exchanged various opinions and focused on facility inspections to create a safer hospital environment, thereby taking responsibility for the health of the local community.
