Asiana Airlines "Experience Korean Traditional Culture on Non-Stop Sightseeing Flights"
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Asiana Airlines announced on the 1st that it will operate international non-landing sightseeing flights in July and August under the theme of 'Korean Traditional Culture Experience.'
This month's 'non-landing sightseeing flights' will operate one flight each from Incheon Airport and Gimpo Airport. However, the Korean traditional culture-themed non-landing sightseeing flight applies only to departures from Incheon International Airport. The Incheon Airport departure flight uses the A380 aircraft and departs at 12:10 PM on the 31st of this month, flying over Busan, Fukuoka, and Jeju before arriving back at Incheon Airport at 2:30 PM.
The Gimpo Airport departure flight uses the A321NEO aircraft and departs at 12:40 PM on the 31st, similarly flying over Busan, Fukuoka, and Jeju before arriving at Gimpo Airport at exactly 3:00 PM.
Passengers boarding the non-landing sightseeing flight departing from Incheon International Airport will receive a business amenity kit and a traditional culture experience kit. In particular, there will be a hanbok doll-making experience program for children, and traditional magic shows and gugak (Korean traditional music) performances will be held in front of the boarding gate at Incheon Airport.
Asiana Airlines will also hold a non-landing sightseeing event on its SNS channels, offering prizes through a lottery. Additionally, customers flying in Business Suite and Business Smartium classes can use the Asiana Airlines East Lounge at Incheon International Airport.
The 'non-landing sightseeing flight' is operated as an international flight, so passengers must carry a Republic of Korea passport. They can use the onboard duty-free shop as well as duty-free shops at Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport, and downtown duty-free shops. However, the onboard duty-free shop can only be used if items are pre-ordered through the Asiana Airlines internet duty-free shop, which offers discount benefits.

Asiana Airlines complies with COVID-19 prevention guidelines and does not provide in-flight meal services. According to Asiana Airlines' integrated prevention program 'ASIANA Care+,' passengers' temperatures are measured before boarding, and aircraft are disinfected and sanitized at least once a week during operation to ensure safe flights.
