Samsung Electronics Service Dominates No.1 in A/S Quality for Home Appliances, Mobile Phones, and Computers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 1st that it swept first place in the quality of after-sales service (A/S) for home appliances, mobile phones, and computers in the '2021 Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI)'.
KS-SQI is a service quality evaluation model jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and the Seoul National University Business Research Institute. It surveys customer satisfaction with each company's services and selects the top service quality company by industry. It is a meaningful evaluation in that customers directly select the number one company.
In this year's survey, Samsung Electronics Service received high scores for accurate and professional service, a service environment convenient for customers to use, and friendly and proactive customer response, ranking first in all electronic product A/S categories. Since the survey began, it has been selected first place 20 times in the computer A/S category, 18 times in the home appliance A/S category, and 18 times in the mobile phone A/S category.
Samsung Electronics Service operates the largest number of service centers in the industry, with 179 centers. For remote islands and isolated areas where visiting service centers is difficult, it provides a 'visiting service' by dispatching buses equipped with mobile phone inspection equipment. During on-site inspections, it offers a 'Plus Care Service' that provides free additional inspections of products other than the one the customer requested service for and also explains usage tips.
