View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] DGB Financial Group announced on the 24th that it awarded the '4th DGB Daegu Social Worker Award' at the '32nd Daegu Social Worker Workshop' held at the main auditorium of Kyungil University.
The event, hosted by the Daegu Social Workers Association, was held online due to COVID-19, allowing social workers to watch the live broadcast from their affiliated welfare institutions.
DGB Financial Group discovered and selected social workers who quietly and devotedly fulfilled their duties, awarding them prize money and certificates, with Kim Myung-sook, director of Daegu Anshikwon, receiving the grand prize.
Since its inception in 2018, the 'DGB Daegu Social Worker Award' is the group's flagship social contribution project aimed at encouraging social workers who take the lead on the front lines for neighbors in need in the region and advocating for the protection of social workers' rights.
DGB Financial Group provided snacks and floral gifts for local social workers and plans to expand this event into a nationwide social contribution project for social workers in the future.
