View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The West Sea Regional Coast Guard Agency (Chief Yoon Byung-doo) announced on the 23rd that it held an emergency call joint response meeting with the Jeollanam-do Fire Headquarters at the 4th-floor command control room of the West Sea Coast Guard Agency.
This meeting was organized to strengthen the organic cooperation system between the police and fire departments.
At the meeting, nine officials including the heads of the comprehensive situation rooms from both organizations attended to discuss the scope of work for each related agency in joint response, matters concerning helicopter operations, patient transport and cooperation system enhancement in maritime and island areas, and requests for cooperation related to emergency call joint response training.
These organizations discuss cooperation plans during disasters and share field difficulties through annual emergency call joint response meetings.
Additionally, in the second half of this year, a meeting is scheduled to be held at the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, which relocated to Jangheung.

Park Kyung-chae, head of the comprehensive situation room at the West Sea Coast Guard Agency, said, “The West Sea Coast Guard Agency and Jeonnam Fire Headquarters will continue to maintain their cooperative system,” adding, “We will do our best to create a safe sea.”
