[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (Mayor Seongjanghyun) will publicly recruit for the ‘2021 2nd Yongsan-gu Job Fund Public-Private Partnership Job Project’ on July 5-6.
This is to actively respond to the job demand of residents and to discover and promote sustainable job projects.
The project period is from August to December.
The recruitment target is corporations or non-profit organizations with understanding and expertise in job projects.
The total project budget is 100 million KRW, and the budget for each project will be determined within the total budget according to the scale of the selected project. The application types are Yongsan-type New Deal fields (digital fields such as Big Data, AI, 5G) and general fields (fields other than New Deal).
The project contents include vocational skill development training such as ▲linked projects including education and training to revitalize youth employment ▲employment support projects to improve vocational skills of vulnerable groups such as middle-aged and career-interrupted women ▲other job projects to improve residents’ income and solve local problems.
Organizations wishing to participate can visit the 5th floor Job Economy Division of Yongsan-gu Office on July 5-6 (9 AM to 6 PM) for two days to apply. Application forms can be downloaded from the announcement/notice section on the district website.
The district will select candidates through document screening, on-site evaluation, and Job Fund Operation Committee review, and plans to post the selection results on the district website in August. However, organizations that are not corporations and have no representative or manager, social clubs, job projects supported by other institutions, projects caught for fraudulent receipt, and projects that failed to comply with guidance or inspection orders will be excluded from support.
Seongjanghyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, “Using the district job fund, we will actively support the creation of various jobs suitable for local conditions, including vulnerable employment groups,” and added, “We hope for active participation from those interested.”
