View original image[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kim Dae-hyun) held a meeting with the executives of the Muan County Small Business Association (President Han Chung-seok) on the 18th and announced on the 21st that it has embarked on active communication efforts.
The county council explained that this meeting was organized to listen to the difficulties and suggestions of small business owners who have been suffering severe hardships due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to prepare effective policies.
The meeting was attended by Chairman Kim Dae-hyun and six county council members, seven executives of the Small Business Association, and county officials.
The meeting proceeded with an encouragement speech by Chairman Kim Dae-hyun, followed by an explanation of Muan County’s major pending projects, and then hearing opinions from the Small Business Association.
Han Chung-seok, President of the Muan County Small Business Association, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to Chairman Kim Dae-hyun, the council members, and related officials who arranged this meeting to share difficulties and communicate with small business owners,” and requested, “Please make efforts to actively reflect the suggestions made today, such as operating a support call center for small business owners, in the county administration.”
Chairman Kim Dae-hyun stated, “I fully understand the desperate feelings of small business owners struggling due to COVID-19,” and added, “Based on the opinions discussed at today’s meeting, we will make multifaceted efforts to help the local commercial district regain vitality as soon as possible.”
