Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station Hosts 'Fire Safety Slogan, Poster, and Photo Contest'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station (Chief Choi Jeongsik) announced on the 21st that it will hold a ‘Fire Safety Slogan, Poster, and Photo Contest’ to build a consensus on fire safety with citizens.
Hosted by the National Fire Agency and the Korea Fire Safety Institute, this contest is open to everyone, including foreigners, and applications will be accepted until August 5.
The theme can be any content that raises awareness of the importance of disaster prevention and provides visual image effects to form a safety consensus for its practice.
The judging criteria emphasize the factuality, timeliness, and promotional value of fire safety, awarding extra points to works with high promotional effects that increase interest and vigilance regarding various disaster accidents.
Entries and application forms must be submitted through the Korea Fire Broadcasting website, and only one entry per person is allowed in each category.
One person can also submit one entry in all three categories. For detailed information about the contest, inquiries can be made to the National Fire Agency 119 Life Safety Division.
