Gyeongnam Province Selected for Additional National Funding Project for Livestock Manure Joint Resource Utilization (Renovation)
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 21st that Gimhae-si was selected in June for the 2021 Livestock Manure Joint Resource Utilization Renovation Project, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, securing a total project cost of 1.4 billion KRW.
The livestock manure joint resource utilization facility (renovation) project in Gimhae-si is a project that repairs and replaces outdated odor reduction facilities and composting facilities and equipment to maximize operational and management efficiency.
With this selection in the public contest project, the total livestock manure joint resource utilization (renovation) projects in the province this year have secured 5 billion KRW, with Hadong-gun receiving 1.1 billion KRW, Sancheong-gun 1 billion KRW, Hapcheon-gun 1.5 billion KRW, and Gimhae-si 1.4 billion KRW.
It is expected to play a significant role in revitalizing the circulation of agricultural resources by not only improving odors through joint livestock manure processing but also producing and distributing high-quality compost and liquid fertilizer in the region.
