On the 17th, Seong Jang-hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, visited Bogwang 2 Senior Center located in Bogwang-dong, Yongsan-gu, and said this.
Yongsan-gu (Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) resumed operations of 88 senior centers on the 14th, following the Central Disease Control Headquarters’ “Support Plan for Daily Life Recovery for Vaccinated Individuals.” Only elders who are 14 days past their vaccination can use the facilities. The capacity is limited to within 50%, and usage hours are restricted to weekdays from 1 PM to 5 PM.
Eating inside the senior centers is also prohibited.
A district official said, “We will gradually expand the opening of senior centers according to the COVID-19 situation, and from July, some programs with low risk of close contact will also be operated.”
The district appoints infection control managers for each senior center to ensure continuous ventilation and disinfection inside the centers.
