Gangnam-gu Hosts 'My Front Yard World Film Festival' Screening 12 Films Including 'Minari'
On the 18th, 'Aladdin' Begins: 3rd and 4th Week Friday and Saturday Performances at Yangjaecheon Venue... Music Concert and Instant Photo Event Included
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) will hold the "World Film Festival in Front of My House" 12 times, starting on the 18th with "Aladdin," where you can enjoy free movies at the Yangjaecheon Yeongdong 3 Bridge outdoor performance venue.
The screenings are scheduled for the third and fourth Fridays and Saturdays of each month at 8 PM until August. From August, the location will change to Yeongdong 5 Bridge. The movie on the 19th is "Hidden Figures." On the 25th, "500 Days of Summer," followed by "Samjin Group English TOEIC Class" on the 26th. In the first week of October, especially, internationally acclaimed films such as "Minari" (2nd) and "Inside Out" (3rd) are scheduled.
Starting at 7:30 PM, 30 minutes before the screening, you can enjoy sweet acoustic band performances and film commentary by professional curators. There is also an instant free photo printing service available.
To comply with quarantine rules, only the first 90 people can enter on a first-come, first-served basis. Electronic entry logs using the "The Gangnam" app, spaced seating, temperature checks, and hand sanitization are mandatory. The schedule may change due to rain or other circumstances.
