176 New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul as of 6 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Seoul City announced that the number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Seoul from 0:00 to 6:00 PM on the 17th was 176.
This is 7 fewer than the 183 cases reported during the same time period the previous day, and 5 fewer than the 181 cases reported on the same day last week (the 10th). The total number of cases for the entire day was 201 on the 16th and 204 on the 10th.
Additional confirmed cases by cluster infection include 4 cases at a workplace in Jung-gu (the third in June), 1 case at a workplace in Dongdaemun-gu (June), 1 case at a restaurant in Dongjak-gu (June), and 7 cases from other cluster infections. There were 97 cases of individual contact infections, and 63 cases are under investigation due to unclear infection routes.
