On the 16th, Lee Kang-ho, Mayor of Namdong-gu, and Kim Yoseop, Head of LH Incheon Regional Headquarters, signed a facility management and operation business agreement to ensure the smooth progress of the Incheon Nonhyeon 4 Startup Support Housing project.
The Incheon Nonhyeon 4 Startup Support Housing is Incheon's first startup support rental housing with residential functions, constructed to provide customized living spaces and startup facilities for young entrepreneurs.
Construction began in December 2019 and is currently 35% complete. The project includes two apartment buildings with a total of 238 households, startup support facilities, a senior citizens' center, and sports facilities.
Kim Yoseop, Head of LH Incheon Regional Headquarters, said, "By supporting the stable growth of startup companies, this will be a great opportunity to simultaneously revitalize youth startups and solve youth housing problems."
Through this agreement, Namdong-gu will participate as the entity responsible for tenant selection and operation of the startup support facilities.
The district plans to recruit tenants among young entrepreneurs (one-person creative enterprises and regional strategic industries) in September and recommend them to LH, which will announce the final tenants after qualification screening. The move-in date is scheduled for June next year.
The lease contract period is two years, with the maximum residence period varying depending on whether tenants have children.
The startup support facilities cover a total area of 1,332㎡ and include a Job Sharing Center, shared conference rooms, an OA room, a 3D printer room, and a filming studio, providing an environment conducive to startups. According to the agreement, the district will operate the facilities by leasing them rent-free for 20 years.
