The Busan International Railway Technology Industry Exhibition is the only specialized railway exhibition in Korea, with over 100 global railway-related companies participating, and will be held for three days until the 19th.
The 55-inch transparent OLED panel with 40% transparency unveiled by LG Display this time is a railway-specialized product that can replace train windows. It features special reinforced glass applied to withstand shocks and vibrations better than existing panels, making it suitable for trains running at high speeds on tracks. At this exhibition, LG Display will present an upgraded version of its existing transparent OLED panels for railway use.
An LG Display official said, "By applying transparent OLED, it is possible to provide various operation information, advertisements, and entertainment content while viewing the outside scenery, so it is expected to have high utility not only in subways and high-speed trains but also in tourist trains."
