Issuance and Registration Available on Suncheon Citizen Card App and National Garden Website
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 15th that it will implement a mobile card service starting this month to make it easy for citizens to subscribe to and use the ‘Suncheon Citizen 1-Year Membership’ in order to expand tourism welfare services for its citizens.
The ‘Suncheon Citizen 1-Year Membership’ is a pledge from the 7th local government administration, allowing Suncheon citizens to use Suncheon Bay National Garden, Suncheon Bay Wetland, Nagan Eupseong, Drama Filming Site, and the Deep-rooted Tree Museum without burden for one year at the cost of 10,000 KRW.
In addition, the city linked the membership issuance and usage to the Suncheon Citizen Card mobile app to enable smartphone access in line with the digital era, and also made online reservations available on the National Garden website.
Moreover, existing card membership users can easily use tourist sites without carrying a separate membership card by completing a simple card registration process on the smartphone app.
