Yeosu City Gains Popularity with 'Library Tour'
'Invitation to the Library'... Operating 3 Themes: 4th Industry, Nature & Career, and Children
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Kyung-taek] The Yeosu City Library in Jeollanam-do has received high praise from participating groups for its new initiative, the library tour program "Invitation to the Library," which started on the 8th.
"Invitation to the Library" is a program that allows participants to tour and explore seven Yeosu City libraries (Yi Sun-sin, Ssangbong, Hyeonam, Environment, Dolsan, Sora, Yulchon). It was designed to widely promote the specialized library facilities in Yeosu and to present a familiar image to the public.
In addition to facility tours, participants can experience programs currently being conducted at each library, divided into three themes: "4th Industrial Revolution," "Nature & Career," and "Children," which has received great enthusiasm from attendees.
The program was originally scheduled for May but was postponed to June due to the social distancing level being raised to level 2 amid COVID-19. Starting from the 8th, it will be held a total of 12 times until October 19.
