On the 14th, the county held an executive meeting chaired by Mayor Seo, where reports on important pending projects to be promoted by each department were presented, and cooperation among departments was secured for smooth project implementation.
On this day, Mayor Seo stated, “If quarantine guidelines are neglected just because social distancing has been eased to Level 1, COVID-19 could spread,” and added, “Please strictly follow personal quarantine rules.”
The county is extending the pilot application of the revised social distancing (Level 1) for three weeks from the 14th to July 4th, allowing private gatherings of up to 8 people and easing restrictions on the number of attendees at meetings, gatherings, and events.
Regarding helping hands during the busy farming season such as onion harvesting, he requested, “It will be difficult, but please participate sincerely in helping hands to provide practical assistance to farmers,” and added, “Public officials and organizations should also join and do their best.”
