"Issuance and Submission of Loan Documents with One App"… Toss and Ministry of the Interior and Safety Sign Agreement to Promote Electronic Certificates
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, announced on the 10th that it will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to promote electronic certificates.
According to this agreement, Toss plans to provide a service from next month that allows users to issue, view, and submit various electronic certificates via smartphone. The electronic certificate services offered by Toss can be used in a one-stop manner within the Toss app itself, from issuance to viewing, storage, and submission, without the need to open other applications or websites.
In the 'My Documents' tab of the Toss app, users can easily issue various electronic certificates such as resident registration certificates, health insurance payment confirmation, business registration certificates, income certificates, national pension qualification certificates, and tax payment certificates. Moreover, when submitting certificates to banks, financial institutions, or public agencies, users can submit them in electronic document form within the Toss app without accessing other sites.
Documents required for specific purposes such as credit loans and year-end tax settlements can also be issued and submitted as packages. This means that users no longer need to search for and individually issue each document required for a credit loan, as the service can be completed with one click.
For example, when documents needed for a credit loan are required, users can issue a package of documents at once, including resident registration certificates, income certificates, and health insurance qualification certificates, and submit them to financial institutions. Additionally, documents required for year-end tax settlements, deposit and insurance product subscriptions, and employment verification can be issued and managed according to the situation. The number of electronic certificates available for issuance will start with 30 types and gradually expand.
Last year, Toss established the 'Paper Zero Team' and has been expanding services that allow users to receive various documents such as bills, contracts, and electronic civil certificates through the Toss app and conveniently make payments.
