Hana Bank-SK Planet 'Join Hands'... MyData Collaboration
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 10th that it has signed a business agreement with SK Planet to collaborate on 'MyData services.'
At the business agreement ceremony held at Hana Bank's headquarters in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul, both companies plan to jointly promote various digital marketing initiatives including ▲discovering business models through data integration ▲exchange of proprietary technologies ▲operating a Hana Bank exclusive product section within 'Syrup Wallet' ▲reviewing pay-per-use advertising business utilizing MyData.
Additionally, in partnership with SK Planet's OK Cashback points, they will launch the Hana OK Cashback account. It will feature an automatic recharge function during point payments to ensure smooth transactions without point shortages, and offer high-level benefits such as special point accumulation through OK Cashback affiliated stores.
Park Sung-ho, CEO of Hana Bank, stated, “To leap forward as a digital bank embedded in customers' daily lives, we will provide differentiated, customized services including MyData services,” adding, “We will maximize the capabilities of both companies to create collaborative synergy through the integration of financial and non-financial data.”
Lee Hansang, CEO of SK Planet, said, “By combining big data accumulated across industries such as IT, finance, distribution, and healthcare with deep learning-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology, we will be able to offer our own specialized services to financial customers,” and added, “Through comprehensive cooperation including technological partnerships between the two companies, we will continuously introduce innovative services that enhance convenience and value for customers using MyData services.”
