[Photo] Huimangeul Nanuneun Saramdeul Donates 300 Million Won Worth of Toys to Yongsan-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The nonprofit organization Hope Sharing People (Chairman Kim Jeong-an) donated 1,500 boxes of children's toys (worth 300 million KRW) to Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) on the 8th.
The items were sponsored by Young Toys Co., Ltd. (CEO Shim Jeong-hoon).
The delivery ceremony took place at the Hannam-dong public parking lot, attended by about 10 people including District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun and Vice Chairman Kim Dong-woo of Hope Sharing People.
Vice Chairman Kim Dong-woo said, "We hope the children of Yongsan-gu grow up brighter and healthier," adding, "Hope Sharing People will continue to actively support these efforts."
The district plans to distribute the donated items to children in local grandparent-headed, multicultural, and single-parent families, social welfare facilities, and children in the overseas sister city (Qui Nhon City, Vietnam).
Seong Jang-hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, expressed gratitude to Hope Sharing People for their good deeds for local residents and children, saying, "I hope this good relationship continues."
