[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 8th that it will conduct the "Economic Census Based on Last Year" from the 14th of this month to the 30th of next month.
The Economic Census is a nationwide survey conducted every five years to understand the overall structure and distribution of industries, and the survey results are used as basic data for establishing major national policies.
The survey targets all businesses engaged in industrial activities within the county as of December 31 of last year, and will conduct online and on-site surveys on 37 items reflecting socio-economic changes and policy demands.
The online survey will be conducted for 29 days from the 14th of this month to the 9th of next month. Participants can apply through surveyors or the Economic Census call center to receive a participation number and password, then access the Economic Census website to respond to the survey.
For businesses that do not respond to the online survey within the period, surveyors will visit the site to conduct the survey.
The county plans to conduct safety education regarding mandatory mask-wearing and hand sanitization for surveyors and will strictly adhere to quarantine rules while conducting the survey.
