Partial Night Traffic Control on Naebusunhwan-ro and Gangbyeonbuk-ro from the 8th... Traffic Management System Construction
Partial Lane Closure of One Lane by Section from June 8 to July 8
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Facilities Corporation announced that from 11 PM on the 8th to 5 AM on July 8, the Naebusunhwan-ro and Gangbyeonbuk-ro will be partially controlled by closing one lane each in four sections.
The purpose of this control is to replace the power supply lines for the traffic management system, which operates real-time traffic information devices such as road electronic display boards, CCTVs, and video detectors. This is expected to prevent accidents caused by electrical leakage and enable more accurate and faster traffic information provision.
The targeted sections are from Jeongneung Tunnel to Hongje IC on Naebusunhwan-ro and from Hangang Bridge to Banpo Bridge on Gangbyeonbuk-ro. To minimize inconvenience to citizens, the corporation plans to conduct construction by partially closing one lane in the construction sections during low traffic hours from 11 PM to 5 AM the next day.
