437 Confirmed Cases Nationwide by 9 PM... 21 Fewer Than Yesterday
According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul city, and other local governments, a total of 437 new COVID-19 cases were reported nationwide from midnight to 9 p.m. on the 7th. This is 21 fewer than the 458 cases recorded at the same time the previous day.
Looking at the regions where new cases were reported that day, 277 cases (63.4%) were in the metropolitan area, and 160 cases (36.6%) were in non-metropolitan areas. By city and province, there were 136 cases in Seoul, 126 in Gyeonggi, 47 in Gyeongnam, 33 in Daegu, 22 in Daejeon, 15 each in Busan and Incheon, 8 each in Chungbuk and Jeju, 7 in Gyeongbuk, 5 in Gangwon, 4 each in Jeonnam and Jeonbuk, 3 each in Ulsan and Chungnam, and 1 in Gwangju.
