Yeosu Chamber of Commerce Holds Yeosu Business Love Working Council Meeting
New Projects Suited for the Contactless Era, Including 'Corporate Love Video Contest' and Yeosu Industrial Complex Promotional Video Production
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Kyung-taek] The Yeosu Business Love Council is focusing this year on strengthening the non-face-to-face business competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies in the Yeosu area, as well as enhancing communication between citizens and companies through online channels.
The Yeosu Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that on the 4th, the 2021 second half Yeosu Business Love Working Committee meeting was held in the Yeosu Chamber of Commerce meeting room, attended by about 20 working committee members of the Yeosu Business Love Council, including the Yeosu Chamber of Commerce Secretariat Director, Yeosu City Regional Economy Division Chief, and representatives from economic, labor, civil society organizations, industrial complexes, and related institutions.
At the meeting, the working committee members discussed measures to ensure smooth activities of local SMEs and mid-sized companies during the COVID-19 era, as well as a Business Love video contest to facilitate communication between citizens and companies in the non-face-to-face era.
In particular, they discussed the difficulty of public promotion to citizens due to the absence of introduction videos about the Yeosu Industrial Complex since 2012, and emphasized the need to produce videos that can introduce the rapidly changing development and current status of the Yeosu Industrial Complex.
Choi Jun-yeol, the working committee chairman (Secretariat Director of Yeosu Chamber of Commerce), said, "In the non-face-to-face era, we will continuously discover projects that enable our SMEs and mid-sized companies to maintain competitiveness and receive strong support from local citizens despite the difficult business environment."
Accordingly, starting in June, the Yeosu Chamber of Commerce will actively implement projects such as the Business Love and Local Love video contest, support for establishing video conferencing equipment for local SMEs, and production of promotional videos introducing the Business Love Yeosu National Industrial Complex.
