Sacheon-si Launches National Design Team to Revitalize Cheongneol Gumteo

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Sacheon City, Gyeongnam announced on the 7th that it has launched the '2021 Sacheon City National Design Team' to find ways to revitalize 'Cheongneol Goomteo'.
The design team recruited applicants through the city website, SNS promotion, and recommendations, and was composed of policy demanders (citizens), service designers, national policy design, and public officials in charge of projects.
The city held an inauguration ceremony on the 4th and awarded appointment letters to the eight members selected as team members.
They will discuss ways to create an emotional tourist destination reflecting the life history and sentiments of the seaside residents around Cheongneol Park and to revitalize the local economy.
To support the activities of the design team, the city plans to promote meetings and field visits using service design techniques according to its own operation plan until October.
