[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon will visit the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) on the afternoon of the 7th to strengthen communication with the labor sector. He had met with them during the recent by-election period as the People Power Party's candidate for Seoul mayor.
Mayor Oh will hold a meeting with 15 KCTU officials, including Kim Ki-cheol, chairman of the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the KCTU, to discuss mutual cooperation plans.
Earlier, on April 30, a day before Labor Day, Mayor Oh visited the site of a burial accident at a demolition site in Jangwi-dong and posted on Facebook, "No more precious lives should be lost while working in environments without safety measures," emphasizing the need for comprehensive support for workers in blind spots.
