Mayor Park Il-ho Receives Appreciation Plaque from the Association of Bereaved Families of War Veterans

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 3rd that Mayor Park Il-ho received a plaque of appreciation from the Korea War Veterans Association in honor of the Month of National Defense and Veterans.
The Korea War Veterans Association annually presents plaques of appreciation to individuals or organizations that strive to improve veterans' welfare at the highest national level.
Mayor Park built a Veterans Hall in June 2017 to honor veterans' organizations, and last year, he renovated the Memorial Pavilion to maintain the spirit tablets in remembrance of the noble sacrifices of the war heroes.
He also established a new allowance for spouses of deceased veterans and increased the honorary veterans' allowance, making efforts to improve the welfare and respect for veterans' families.
Chairman Kim Young-soo said, "On behalf of over 81,000 members, I thank Mayor Park for his continuous efforts to honor and improve the welfare of veterans' families, including war veterans and their families, with great interest in veterans' policies."
