Up to 4 Days of Paid Leave Granted Without Using Personal Annual Leave
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 2nd that it will introduce a special leave system that allows employees who have received the COVID-19 vaccine to take up to 4 days off.
This system was urgently introduced to comply with government quarantine guidelines and ensure sufficient rest for employees. When receiving vaccines such as Pfizer or AstraZeneca (AZ), which require two doses, employees are granted 4 days of paid leave without using their personal annual leave.
Employees who have been vaccinated can take leave on the day of vaccination and the following day, regardless of any adverse reactions. This vaccine leave applies to all employees who have received vaccination guidance as well as those who have applied for leftover vaccines (canceled reservation vaccines).
