Gangdong-gu 'Paul Bassett' Coffee Shop Barista Position Recruitment Application
Applications open on M's Seed recruitment website until the 14th... Contributing to resolving youth unemployment and promoting an open employment culture in the region
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) is recruiting employees to work as baristas at Paul Bassett through the 'Employment Connection Project' in collaboration with the recruiting company M's Seed from the 1st to the 14th to create jobs for local residents.
Started in 2018, the Employment Connection Project was initiated by Gangdong-gu and M's Seed, an affiliate of Maeil Dairies, to resolve youth unemployment in the region and promote an open employment atmosphere for companies.
Through a business agreement, 59 Gangdong-gu residents have been confirmed hired over the past three years.
The district is responsible for recruiting and promoting job seekers and providing educational support, while M's Seed separately conducts the recruitment process for job seekers who are Gangdong-gu residents, cooperating to expand employment for Gangdong residents.
This year, they plan to recruit for the barista position at Paul Bassett, M's Seed's representative coffee specialty brand. The qualification requirements are that applicants must be aspiring baristas, residents of Gangdong-gu, and unemployed.
Applications can be submitted through M's Seed's recruitment website, exclusively for Gangdong-gu residents.
Applicants should register their resumes on M's Seed's recruitment website by June 14, the application deadline, and can select their preferred workplace when registering their resume.
Hiring will proceed after document screening for disqualifications and interviews, and after completing a three-month probation period including on-site practical training, conversion to full-time employment will be decided.
Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, said, "We will strive to revitalize the local economy through various methods such as the Employment Connection Project to create jobs and employment opportunities for youth in the region."
