Opening of the 237th 1st Regular Session of the Gimhae City Council
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Gimhae City Council in Gyeongnam announced on the 31st that it will open the 237th Gimhae City Council 1st Regular Meeting from June 1 to 24, a 24-day schedule, and begin full-scale session operations.
At this regular meeting, a total of 22 agenda items will be reviewed and resolved, including the 2021 administrative audit, approval of the 2020 fiscal year revenue and expenditure settlement, and 12 ordinances and consent items proposed by council members.
On the first day of the session, June 1, during the 1st plenary session, council members will conduct 5-minute free speeches, and a special budget and settlement committee will be formed to comprehensively review the approval plan for the 2020 fiscal year revenue and expenditure settlement.
From June 2 to 10, each standing committee will begin activities to conduct the 2021 administrative audit, and from June 11 to 14, they will inspect major project sites and review ordinances and other agenda items.
Additionally, from June 15 to 23, each standing committee and the special budget and settlement committee will review the approval plan for the 2020 fiscal year revenue and expenditure settlement.
On the last day of the regular meeting, June 24, the 2nd plenary session will be held to question the executive branch about city administration, followed by the final approval of agenda items reviewed and reported by the standing committees and the special budget and settlement committee, concluding this regular meeting.
