Mirae Asset Securities Launches Chinese E-commerce Platform 'Bulgeunnakta'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Hwajeong] Mirae Asset Securities announced on the 31st that it will launch the e-commerce platform 'Bulgeunnakta' in partnership with Magno International.
The Bulgeunnakta platform is a commerce platform that allows Chinese residents living both domestically and abroad to conveniently purchase various Korean products and receive fast delivery using the global WeChat Pay.
Bulgeunnakta plans to operate various category services such as food hall, lifestyle hall, and event hall, with popular brands from major domestic companies entering the platform, pioneering a new consumer market for Chinese residents in Korea.
After the opening, live commerce and group purchase functions targeting customers in mainland China and Chinese residents in Korea will be activated, with a strategy to maximize sales by featuring famous Chinese celebrities and Wanghongs.
The Bulgeunnakta platform is currently in beta open and will officially open on June 1st. Mirae Asset Securities will handle Korea-China cross-border payments for the platform and plans to conduct various promotions and events with Magno International to promote its activation.
A representative from Mirae Asset Securities said, "Bulgeunnakta, in partnership with Magno International, will add various service functions such as secondhand trading, food delivery, and travel in addition to commerce functions in the future, and is expected to evolve into the best Chinese e-commerce platform in Korea."
