Gimhae City to Recruit 20 Participants for Second Half Local Community Job Project Starting Next Month on the 3rd
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 31st that it will recruit 20 participants for the '2021 Second Half Local Community Job Project' from June 3 to 9.
Eligibility for application is limited to Gimhae citizens aged 18 or older as of the announcement date (June 1), whose household income is 65% or less of the median income standard and whose assets are 300 million KRW or less.
Those who have participated repeatedly in financially supported job projects for more than two consecutive years as of the application start date, as well as spouses and children of public officials, are excluded from participation.
The tasks will be assigned to seven workplaces, including making collection sacks for recycled materials using discarded banners and producing traditional products related to the Gimhae Garak Ogwangdae mask removal project.
The work period is four months, from July 1 to October 29. Working hours are 6 hours per day, 5 days a week (30 hours per week), with a wage of 8,720 KRW per hour. Weekly holiday pay, monthly leave allowance (if attendance is perfect), and snack allowance (5,000 KRW) will be paid separately.
