The middle-aged one-stop service is a project that discovers and supports customized welfare needed for middle-aged single-person households based on the results of a survey conducted on a sample of 630 households, which is 5% of 12,468 single-person households in five areas including Jinyeong-eup, Naeoe, Bukbu, Hwalcheon, and Saman-dong.
The selection committee, consisting of seven members including Vice Mayor Kang Deok-chul, selected three institutions for two projects: IoT-based infrastructure establishment and customized program support, through various evaluations and deliberations.
The IoT infrastructure project was awarded to Gimhae City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and the customized support project was awarded to Gyeongnam Social Service Institute and Gimhae City Welfare Foundation. The projects will be carried out from June until the end of this year. Through this project, the city plans to utilize the accumulated knowledge of private institutions to directly improve the quality of services and establish social networks and self-reliance foundations for high-risk households.
